If you are only looking for temporary assignments, we can help. Sapient Dental Staffing places you with
the area's best Dentists for short term assignments or long term work. How many days you want to work is up to you!
Must I accept an assignment?
One of the many advantages of working with our agency is we never force our candidates to accept
temporary or permanent assignments. You are in control of all your assignments and work when
and where you want.
How much do the assignments pay?
Salaries are negotiated between Sapient Dental Staffing and the dental office before each assignment is placed.
The pay typically depends on the level of experience as well as the location of the dental office.
However, the rate is usually higher then the area average because of the increased need of the
candidate.
Who pays me and when do I get paid?
The dental office that you work for typically pays you at the end of the assignment. However, some
offices may use a payroll service which will mail you your check within two weeks. Sapient Dental Staffing
does not handle any paychecks.
How far will I have to travel for an assignment?
The choice is yours! Whether you want to stay local, drive up to an hour, or a combination of the two,
we will work to accommodate your wants and needs.
Are there any fees I am required to pay Sapient Dental Staffing?
Absolutely not! All fees are paid to us by the dentist. There is never a fee charged to our candidates for
working with us.
Can I still join Sapient Dental Staffing if I have a permanent job?
Yes, you can join us to work as a temp if you already have a permanent position. In fact, many of our
temps do have a permanent job but like to make some extra money on their days off or when their office
is closed. Just let us know what days you are available and we'll help find you a position.
Do I need Malpractice Insurance?
Although we don't require candidates to have malpractice insurance, we strongly encourage it. With today's high costs and consequences of malpractice lawsuits, professional liability insurance is a must for all healthcare professionals. Whether the allegations are real or frivolous, the impact of a malpractice lawsuit can be financially devastating. We look out for the best interest of our candidates which is why we are strong advocates of malpractice insurance. There are many policy providers including HPSO which have very competitive rates.
